Anne Marie... Sean and I were just talking, and your blog came up, and I visited in the midst of our phone call. And of course I was shocked to see this all, and speechless. I remember your Mom more than fondly and we will miss her. We leave for Los Angeles in the morning and cannot change our travel, but I will be thinking of you and your family on Thursday.

I am so sorry, I can't imagine what your family is going through and I wish I could make it to the funeral. Know that we have been praying for you at church every week and will continue to keep you and your family in our prayers. If you need anything let me know. Grace and Peace,

Shannon

Anne Marie -

I know today is difficult and filled with grief, but I'm praying for you and your family as you celebrate the life of your mom.  I pray that this would be a time for your family to grow together and for your relationships to deepen as you experience this loss together. I tried my hardest to make it to the ceremony and I'm so sad I wasn't able.  You are on my mind and in my prayers today.

Your mom's funeral was so tender, sincere, sad, but hopeful and at times hilarious. I'm so glad you and your brothers all got up and talked. I still love Chris's line about in spite of your mom loving white zinfandel, she was quite a classy lady (or something like that). That just cracked me up and reminded me of my own Mom :) Mama Poux was wonderful and she will be dearly missed!
