It's Official

After a long struggle, mom passed at 11:25pm tonight. It looks like we'll be having a viewing on Wednesday night and a service on Thursday afternoon in Kent. We'll let you know more details as we figure them out.

Poux, I'm so sorry for yours and your family's loss, but praise God you had such an amazing, loving, talented, gracious mother to help you become the amazing, loving, talented and gracious woman you are today. I only got to meet her a few times, but she was a wonderful lady and mom, so warm and genuinely nice! We love you Poux.

Lots of love and condolences from the Illinois family. Mom and I were looking at pictures yesterday and she has quite a few of your mom that she is going to send you. I think that they were grandma Vera and Grandpa Buzz's...there is one of her as a baby that looks SO MUCH like my youngest daughter Violet, it's very strange.
Anyway, she said that she would try sending them soon so that you all had them to enjoy.

Once again, I'm so sorry.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know grieving is not easy, but I wish some semblance of lightness to your heart while you all are going through this pain.

The first time I spent a good amount of time with your mom (it might have been the first time I met her) we painted your room in the crayonbox, yellow. This weekend Brandon and I painted the hallway to the kids room yellow, different shade, but either way it was kinda a good way to think about you and your mom and reflect on everything...maybe this sounds strange but it was therapeutic...once again, you and your family are in my prayers. I LOVE YOU.

What a blessing to have been surrounded by such a loving and wonderful family in her final days - a true reflection of an amazing mother and friend. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this final journey with your mom - you are definitely in our prayers.

Anne Marie, so so sorry to read about your mom. I can't imagine what it must feel like and I'm sorry I didn't know sooner.
